Robert Taylor

UK Managing Director

Robert Taylor is LTi’s UK Managing Director and is responsible for growing and expanding LTi’s business throughout the UK and Europe. He has spent the majority of his career in the asset finance and banking industry with Barclays, HSBC, HBOS, and RBS NatWest before then running a broker lessor for UK’s largest commercial vehicle contract hire business. Along the way, Robert has gained experiences in areas such as IT consulting, database development, and custom software development. Whilst UK Country Manager is his primary job function by day, Robert also enjoys cycling and is currently back in training to compete in Ironman events following a seven-year gap since his last one.

He holds several qualifications and certifications, including:
• Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers
• Founding Fellow of The Leasing Foundation
• Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Commerce
• Diploma in Credit from IFS School of Finance

Outside of work, Robert volunteers for various charities, including:
• Director and Deputy Chairman of AFPA Trust, the Asset Finance Professionals Association
• Patron for the Royal Albert Hall
• Past Chairman of Board of Trustees for Arts for All
• Past Commercial & Brand Board Member for the National Autistic Society
• Past Corporate Ambassador for Research Autism
