LTi Co-Founder Randy Haug Honored with 2021 ELFA Advocacy Award

The Equipment Finance and Leasing Association (ELFA) is honoring Randy Haug with its 2021 Advocacy Award for his extraordinary contributions to the association. Randy Haug is the Executive Vice President, Vice Chairman, and Co-Founder for LTi. The association will present the award virtually at the ELFA Capitol Connections on May 19, 2021.

How LTi started

In 1989, LTi Technology Solutions, formerly LeaseTeam, Inc., opened in Downtown Omaha with Randy Haug as one of its co-founders. They purchased LeasePlus (L+), a back-end lease and loan portfolio management system. Randy’s leadership and ability to inspire employees have contributed to LTi’s success in creating a passionate and customer-obsessed, global company. Today, LTi works with enterprises throughout the U.S., UK, and Canada providing a full lifecycle cloud platform of equipment finance and asset-based lending products.

As Executive Vice President, Vice Chairman, and Co-Founder, he is responsible for overseeing the market direction and strategies for LTi. He also serves as an advisor to customers regarding their business issues and strategies.

Achievements through the years

Randy has participated in many different industry associations, including:

  • Member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) Advocacy Advisory Committee
  • Executive Committee Board Member & Development Committee Chair for Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation (ELFF)
  • Board of Trustee to ELFF
  • Past President of the National Equipment and Finance Association (NEFA)
  • Current Chair and Co-Founder of the Chris Walker Education Committee of NEFA

He has also participated in a number of different industry association committees in both the ELFA and NEFA associations and has been an industry speaker and panelist at several educational events within those associations.

Additionally, Randy is a servant leader, having held numerous board-level positions in many industry companies and organizations. He uses his pragmatic approach to solve problems and share his industry knowledge and experience. Furthermore, Randy is considered to be an industry thought leader by LTi, their customers and partners. His vast industry knowledge, experience, and cross-industry perspective have helped LTi’s customer partners achieve recognized success over many years and many different economic and business cycles.

ELFA Advocacy Award

The ELFA presents the Advocacy Award annually to an individual who has made an extraordinary contribution to the association’s federal or state advocacy programs.

The award is named for David H. Fenig, who served as an accomplished advocate on behalf of the equipment leasing and finance industry in his role as ELFA Vice President of Federal Government Relations from January 2004 to December 2011.

The Advocacy Award is one of ELFA’s highest levels of recognition. Award winners exemplify extraordinary contributions to advance the association’s programs. They play an outstanding leadership role representing ELFA in promoting the importance of advocacy on behalf of the equipment leasing and finance industry.
