For nearly a decade, LeaseTeam employees have been hosting an office breakfast to raise money for local non-profits. Employees plan and prepare the breakfast, a minimum donation is charged to eat and LeaseTeam matches any donations received in full.
And last year, we even expanded our fundraising to include a craft sale where employees donated items they handmade. Last Friday was the final day of our events to raise money through the craft sale and all donations were given to the Food Bank for the Heartland.
Each year, we’ve been able to increase our donation and this year was no exception. Through the breakfast and craft sale, we were able to donate $5,274 to feed our community. Given the Food Bank’s purchasing power ($1 = 3 meals!), we provided just over 15,800 meals this holiday season!
