In addition, he leads Hitachi’s corporate communications and branding activities across Europe. He was in charge of Hitachi’s global activities as Principal Partner of COP26. He also used to be the Chair of the Board of CSR Europe. He has 30 years of experience in corporate communications. He holds a Master’s Degree in Linguistics from the University of Antwerp as well as a Master’s Degree in Communication Science from the University of Ghent.
Ty is an award winning Welsh-American business development executive, entrepreneur and corporate governance innovator, with two decades of experience of business information management and evaluating ethics, compliance and values based programs using data analytics.
Gary has a career that stretches across continents as well as sectors, from environmental services in Africa to work in the MIddle East and South America working with multinational and inter-governmental organisations such as UN FAO, World Bank and WWF. his interest in the environment began as a graduate trainee at an international insurance company. Each graduate was asked to choose the issues that they thought would affect the sector in the future. It was 1990 and Gary had the foresight to choose global warming.
